Why Recycle?

Recycling is one of the best ways for us to have a positive impact on the world in which we live.

When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products – reducing the need to extract raw materials from the Earth through mining and forestry. This helps protect the natural environment.

Recycling also uses less energy than needed for producing new products from raw materials so it helps to preserve natural resources for the future.

At Dun Works we have dedicated bin stores with recycling facilities to ensure we are doing our bit for the environment.

Furnished Or Not?


When it comes to furnishing rental properties, it’s something that can cause a bit of doubt in a landlords’ mind.

There’s so many variables to consider; where do you get the furniture from? Do you supply it all, or just certain rooms? What happens if it gets damaged? Who maintains the upkeep?

For us at Dun Works, it was an easy decision to make, as we managed to source a fantastic supplier – LOFT Interiors – who we just fell in love with.

Their furniture is modern contemporary, stylish and above all comfortable. And, not to mention they are extremely cost effective. We’ve even made it easier for you to pay for the packs too – in your monthly rent!

No matter which apartment you choose at Dun Works – studio, one or two bed – we can offer you it on an unfurnished or furnished basis, making life a lot easier.

Opting for one of our furniture packs helps take the stress and hassle of sourcing and funding furniture away. Everything is ordered new and assembled ready when you arrive to collect your keys.

All of LOFT furniture is sourced from reputable and ethical suppliers, and they always ensure they give back to the local community – which we are totally on board with.

New Caretaker At Dun Works


Meet Jim, our new caretaker and handyman at Dun Works.

Jim has been doing an amazing job over the last few weeks looking after all our resident’s needs – and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board.

Not only is he friendly and approachable but he goes above and beyond to make sure all the tenants have the best service possible and are happy in their new homes.

If you rent with us and had a repair need in your home, Jim will organise and arrange access to your apartment so a contractor can attend and fix the problem as fast as possible.

And, if you’re not in – don’t worry, as with your permission he can let the contractor in, and will wait with them until the work is done.

Not only this but Jim is always happy to sign, store and deliver parcels to your door that arrive on site. And, because he wants to make our residents as content as possible, he makes sure the buildings and communal spaces always look their best.

So, if you haven’t had chance to meet Jim yet – head on down. He’s on site within working hours all week and he may even treat you to a cuppa and biscuit.

First tenants move into Dun Works

New tenants have been moving in to the phase one apartments since the 3 September.

We are delighted to welcome our new tenant who joined the amazing community down Kelham Island.

She originally saw the apartment advertised through our video on Facebook and decided to come to the site to have a quick look around before making an official appointment.

We bumped into her as she was walking around the site and we were more than happy to show her inside the apartments.

She instantly fell in love with the place, and called our office straight away to make the reservation – just a week later she’s moved in.

We’re sure she will be happy in her new home, and we are looking forward to meeting more of the tenants.
