Thorncliffe Cricket Club of Chapeltown has received a massive boost for the forthcoming season after Crucible Sales & Lettings stepped up as the club’s new main sponsor. Crucible is opening a new branch in Chapeltown after acquiring Winkworth Estates. The estate agency’s £3000 sponsorship will provide brand new kit for the players and vital ongoing support for Thorncliffe’s various teams.
Crucible Managing Director Phil Price commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be the main sponsor for Thorncliffe Cricket Club. We feel that sport in the local community is so important, and we are delighted that the money is going towards assisting the youth coaching, too”.
Crucible is an independent, locally owned agency rooted in community service. All the company’s profits go to parent company South Yorkshire Housing Association to help older people and those with special needs to live independently.
Chairman at Thorncliffe Cricket Club, Rob Hulley, said: “The association with Crucible Sales & Lettings brings the prospect of exciting new ventures and local events throughout the year and hopefully for many years to come.”
New players of any age or ability are welcome at Thorncliffe Cricket Club. For more information contact Chairman Rob Hulley on 07855798052.
